This saves all student/transaction/settings data to a small PHP + MySQL database on your own Hostinger hosting, so records are accessible from any computer or phone.

One-time setup:

1. Create a MySQL database in Hostinger's hPanel (Databases → MySQL Databases).
2. Upload the api.php and config.php files (provided separately) to your site via File Manager, and fill in the DB name/username/password and a Secret Key inside config.php.
3. Paste the full web address of api.php (e.g. https://yourschool.com/api.php) and the same Secret Key below, then click Connect.

This app saves/loads all its data (students, transactions, SMS log, settings) as one JSON file in your own Google Drive, so the school records follow you across computers. You need a free Google Cloud OAuth Client ID (Web application type) with your domain added to Authorized JavaScript origins — a one-time setup by whoever hosts this ERP.

This syncs all student/transaction/settings data to your own free Firebase project's Firestore database, so records are accessible from any computer or phone, not just this device. Student photos sync too, as long as each one stays reasonably small (large photos are kept on this device only — see note below).

One-time setup (free, ~5 minutes):

1. Go to console.firebase.google.com → Add project (free "Spark" plan, no card needed).
2. In the project, open Build → Firestore Database → Create database (choose "Start in test mode" or use the rules below).
3. Open Build → Authentication → Get started → Sign-in method → Anonymous → Enable.
4. Go to Project settings (⚙️) → General → Your apps → Web app (</>), register an app, and copy the firebaseConfig object shown.
5. Paste that whole object below and click Connect.

Free tier note: Firestore's free (Spark) tier gives about 1 GB of stored data with no credit card required — already far beyond this app's old ~5-10 MB browser limit. Reaching a full 30 GB requires upgrading the Firebase project to the pay-as-you-go "Blaze" plan (still free under Google's 5 GB storage allowance, but a card must be linked). Large student photos are always safe either way, since this app also keeps a full local copy on this device via the storage described above.
